Supply Chain
Jansen-Dongen offers the shortest route from cultivation to customer. This is possible because we are involved in the entire production process. From selecting the best varieties to delivering the products to the distribution centers. This way there is an efficient and transparent production chain. We are not dependent on other suppliers and can respond quickly to questions and developments. This works much better for all parties.

Consciously considered cultivation system (1)
A very specialized and strong element of Jansen-Dongen is its cultivation structure, which makes it possible to realize special projects quickly. For example, the cultivation of new varieties in the Netherlands and abroad. The cultivation of Jansen-Dongen is done according to our own cultivation system, BOTS, with emphasis on the environment and the biodiversity of the surrounding area. We do this by, among other things, placing insect shelters and flowery field edges. Just look around in the Netherlands, who knows you will see the bee hotels and colorful field margins at one of our cultivators.
Sorters (2)
The sorting department is not only needed as an extension of our cultivation, but it also works completely autonomously for third parties. It is in fact a service provider for the packing department by having the desired quantity available at the right time in the agreed laundry quality for further processing. By automation surrounded by own weighing equipment and own HACCP and ISO/BRC certification the sorting department is a complete and strong unit.
Several quality checks are carried out throughout the entire production process.

Our products are washed and polished with care. Jansen-Dongen applies a unique technology to preserve the freshness and taste of the product: hydrocooling.

In this department, the most modern developments in packaging have been realized. The latest packaging systems have the following advantages:
- Product improvement in quality and presentation
- No product damage during filling due to natural movement effect
- Presentation: different packaging shapes/materials can be selected for optimal product presentation

With the changing climate, it is becoming more and more important for companies to do business in a sustainable way. At Jansen-Dongen we are very aware of this and we are taking more and more measures to ensure that we operate in a responsible manner. We do this by, among other things, working on innovative packaging methods. Think of a natural branding logo and the use of biodegradable plastic, so we are prepared for a sustainable future where no conventional plastic needs to be used. Working together with other sustainable companies is also very important to us.
